Weekend Love Brand
of the Year 2026

— AVDW

Founded in 2019 by Annick Vanden Weghe, AVDW began with colourful scarves, jewellery and vintage finds collected during her travels. The discovery of Lesotho blankets and the creation of the brand’s distinctive MANTA coats marked its evolution into a fully-fledged fashion house. Since 2022, Annick’s daughter Romée has joined the company, bringing additional structure and focus. Today, AVDW offers ready-to-wear, accessories and its signature handmade loafers. Hand-drawn prints, fluid tailoring and natural fabrics including silk, cotton, viscose, cashmere and wool define its feminine yet outspoken aesthetic. The collections are available at its Antwerp flagship store, selected European boutiques and online.
